We’re Narelle and Stephen Lenton, and we proudly run Outback Opals Winton, carrying on a family tradition deeply rooted in the Queensland outback.
We are second generation miners, working alongside Narelle's brothers, Bruce, Ray, John and our business partners. Our journey in Opal mining began with our father, John P Jackson. He began Opal mining in the Eromanga area in 1960 and relocated to Winton in 1964, and Opal mining became a lifelong passion. Our family continues to mine in the Opalton, Vergemont and Elvo areas.
Our goal is to provide Opal enthusiasts with the opportunity to buy and appreciate the stunning beauty of this gemstone. We are eager to share the magic of Boulder Opal with you.
